The Annual Easter Egg Hunt

Every year on the weekend before Easter, for the past 4 or 5 years, we take Dylan to his God mother's church for their Easter Egg Hunt. Dylan and her son Grant always have such a fun time. The church put out 15,000 eggs this year (last year it was 12,000)! They divide the field into different sections for each age group. The church also has hot dogs, chips, and cokes. After the hunt there are always lots of inflatables for the kids to play on. We always have such a great time!

Notice the eggs in Dylan's basket? He only picks the blue or green eggs! He is all boy! He did the same thing last year except he gathered a few pink ones to take to Cedie at the hospital. Cedie never got to have Easter outside of the hopital but I'm sure she was smiling down on Dylan today and laughing at his picky egg hunting :-)

Looks like alot of fun I wish we had something like that here for the kids. I am sure Cedie was there helping Dylan pick out all the blue and green eggs.

Maybe it's just my imagination, but it looks like in the pictures most of the eggs are blue or green (I had to look really hard to find any other colors on the grass)--so maybe Dylan is being more efficient than picky!
